This year, we're making history with the Illinois Indoor Track & Field Championship, hosted at the fastest track in the Midwest-the Dr. Conrad Worrill Track and Field Center at Gately Park. This is more than just a meet; it's where champions rise and legacies are forged.

MEET SCHEDULE

REGISTRATION & ENTRY FEES​

​

The entry fee for the meet is $30 per event and $60 per relay.​

​​

UNLIMITED NUMBER OF ENTRIES FROM EACH SCHOOL

​

EVENT FIELD SIZES

​

Each event will have a maximum field size based on performance standards. The top athletes will be selected for each event after registration closes. 

​

RUNNING EVENTS

• 60m Hurdles: 40 athletes

• 60m Dash: 40 athletes

• 200m Dash: 36 athletes

• 400m Dash: 36 athletes

• 800m Run: 36 athletes

• 1600m Run: 36 athletes

• 3200m Run: 36 athletes

• 4x200m Relay: 18 teams

• 4x400m Relay: 18 teams

• 4x800m Relay: 24 teams

FIELD EVENTS

• Shot Put: 18 athletes

• Pole Vault: 18 athletes

• High Jump: 12 athletes

• Long Jump: 18 athletes

• Triple Jump: 18 athletes

Athletes not initially selected will be placed on a ranked waitlist. Waitlisted athletes will be contacted if spots become available.​

The final entry list, including heat assignments and additional meet details, will be published by 12:00 PM on March 25, 2025.

COACHING WRISTBANDS

​

For example, if you have athletes competing in the 800m, 4x200m relay, and Shot Put, you will receive three (3) coaching wristbands—one for each event group.

​

COACHING BOXES

​

Coaching Access and Infield Guidelines

To ensure a smooth and well-organized event, coaching boxes will be designated on the infield for all field events. Coaches with valid passes will have access to the infield to support their athletes.

​

Guidelines for Coaches on the Infield

• Coaches must remain in the designated coaching boxes at all times while on the infield.

• If a coach leaves the coaching box or fails to follow these guidelines, they will be asked to leave the infield.

​

Our goal is to provide a space where coaches and athletes can connect while maintaining the integrity and efficiency of the meet. Coaches will receive passes granting infield access specifically for these coaching boxes.

​

ADMISSIONS​

 

$15 per individual. Cash or Credit Card accepted.

Awards will be given out to the top 6 places.

CLERKING/CHECKING IN

 

Please come to clerk Race Ready (spikes on)

• Know your lane and heat assignment

• Listen for your call and head to clerking area

• Check in and get your hip numbers

• You will be taken over to the starting line

SPIKE POLICY

 

The only spikes allowed at this meet are ¼ pyramid spikes. Spikes can only be worn on the track. You will not be allowed to go into the stands or other areas of the facility with spikes.
